What can I do for free?
Core care for one pet is free: feeding targets, meal and care logs, weigh-ins, a basic recap, passport, sharing and export. You also get included daily insights and food-photo and voice samples. Your app shows the allowance for your account. Plus adds recurring assistance, more records and more pets.
Do the same tools work for every pet?
Tools vary by species. Feeding targets cover dogs and cats, plus adult maintenance references for rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets. PetLife does not calculate a feeding target for birds. Check the species guidance in the app before using a feeding reference.
Can PetLife replace advice from my vet?
No. PetLife helps you organize daily care and what you observe. Feeding references and generated observations are informational, not a diagnosis or veterinary advice. Your vet can help you interpret changes and choose a plan for your pet.
Who can see my pet’s records?
You choose what to share. Public and private-share pages show only the information allowed by their sharing settings. Records you add are owner-reported. Veterinary verification is not currently offered.
Is PetLife available for Android too?
Yes. PetLife is available on the App Store and Google Play. You create your account and manage your pet in the app; shared pages and the free feeding tools can be viewed on the web.
